Our company, a 1,000 acre apple and pear grower, packer, and shipper in Northeastern Washington, came to Keith Hicks several years ago with our Microsoft Access based shipping program. It was outdated and was no longer meeting our needs. Keith was able to take information in an industry that he essentially knew nothing about and ask the right questions to design an excellent custom software design program for us.
We came to Keith with two major reports that we needed. Keith’s first project with us was to design a custom block return that helped us analyze what blocks in the orchard were profitable and which ones were not. The second project was to design an automated grower payment that would take information from all sales on a per order basis and generate a monthly statement for our outside growers that we pack for.
There were also existing reports and problems that we had in our old program that Keith corrected for us. Not only did he help with reports that benefited the managers from a budget analysis standpoint but he also helped the end-user with making existing features of our program more user friendly.
